PR Girl in London hit Portman Square last night for too many glasses of Veuve Clicquot to celebrate the gorgeous Candy & Candy re-furb of the luxe private members club 21 Home House.

Uber Chic and seriously cosy - the club was buzzing with top notch London darlings, breathtaking art (including a very impressive chandelier made from martini glasses... of which PR Girl in London will be trying to recreate at home with super glue.. wish her luck!).. and of course yummy drinks and canapés.

Inside scoop - tucked away through many a corridor is a delightful 'Le Fumoir' snug reminiscent of an english gentleman's smoking lounge, which reportedly when opened was exclusively reserved for one of Jude Law's private parties.

Well she's been hanging out at the Tom Dixon designed Bombay Sapphire Dusk Bar at the charming Somerset House sipping on yummy cocktails and swooning in the blue glow of a Bombay Sapphire bottle!!

Admittedly a little slow on the update as the pop-up bar opened in May.. it has been this year's most talked about and popular open-air drinking spot for the who's who of London and it is set to close on 18 October.... get down there now!!

Inside scoop... Exclusively available for the bar’s final two weeks is the ‘Thrown to Bombay Paradise’ cocktail, specially created by top mixologist Esther Medina - Bar Manager of Roast. A peppery mix of Bombay Sapphire gin, sherry and peach bitters.. YUM!

There is one thing about Christmas that PR Girl in London always dreads ... The Christmas Foliage competition. It seems the first thing any guest to your home does in the festive season is to eye up (and don't think they are not judging!) the Christmas tree and other plant type decorations donning your abode.

It doesn't seem to matter how far down the Kings Road PR Girl in London has to walk in the blizzard (ok slight exaggeration.. more torrential sleet!) to search for the perfect tree / wreath / those twig things sprayed gold... and the hours of tree decoration .. it never ends up looking like that tree on the front cover of Country Life - however that smug socialite next door seems to get it down to a T.

Well, this year PR Girl in London has a trick up her sleeve - the chic florists Moyses Stevens has chosen the finest Nordman spur trees this year and are offering a full decorating service, including delivery, installation and removal... YES PLEASE!

What's more is that they will also be producing bespoke garlands, wreaths and seasonal bouquets with "each designed to ensure that delicious Christmas scents and colours are injected with a touch of nature into any home this festive season"... You'll never believe what has just landed on PR Girl in London's desk right slap bang beside her bowl of soup... the soon to be launched Lively collection for Juicy Couture Timepieces, and why is she so excited that she couldn't wait until tomorrow to post this blog... well, see for yourself...

Yes that's right, a steal at £250 the Juicy Couture Lively watch is almost identical to Chanel's J12 (the watch that has taken the world by storm these past few months) but without the £3000+ price tag..

Moral of the story.. WE LOVE YOU JUICY!!!!

Spelt For Christmas...

As the friends, colleagues and family of PR Girl in London know, if she is not donning her 'See It, Love It, Spelt It' t-shirt she's definitely talking about it!

Its August, the 'height of summer' (arguably) is upon us and most of the team at PR Girl in London's HQ are off sunning themselves on a number of chic exotic islands or adorning a sail boat off one of those chic exotic islands.

Meanwhile the rest of us are in the midst of Christmas ... yes that's right... we are spending our August days noshing on Mince Pies and Christmas Cake and holding press days with a Christmas Tree as staple decoration (and I'm sure some fake snow must have made an appearance somewhere at a venue in W1 this month).
